7 months, other cute pictures, and Christmas wishes

Sunday, Charlotte was 7 months old! She is now a "sitter", though I don't leave her unattended yet since we have hard wood floors. The thud that the other girls heads made when they were learning to sit has scarred me! But Charlotte could do it. She gets baths in her big girl chair now and really likes the water. She and Madalyn have loved baths since birth. Amelia likes them but the water has to be really warm, she's like me! She has cut her bottom two teeth and I know she is working on others! She is eating real food now, though she still tolerates baby food. She hasn't mastered holding her own bottle yet, but we are working on it. She has asked Santa for sippy cups, so once those arrive we will start water/juice combos with snack time. Hopefully that will also help with holding her bottles too. It will also begin the transition from bottles to sippy cups by 1 like my other girls. I am curious as to how much she weighs now. At her 6 month check up she was the height and weight of a 4 month old, but after all this food, she has got to have caught up! She is still taking her 3 naps a day, though it will be nice when she drops the morning one so we can get more errands done. But for now that has become my exercise time, so it "works out":) She goes to bed between 7 and 7:30 and is up to eat at 8. She is honestly the easiest baby, so content and happy! We have been blessed beyond belief with her!! And I will tell anyone who asks, having 3 is WAY easier than having 2 especially all 3 years apart! So here are some pictures of our 3 girls.

I know I'm biased, but c'mon! She is the cutest baby!!

We took the girls to Holiday Magic at Brookfield zoo. This summer, being a member, I took the girls there every week armed with lunch and snacks and we would spend at least 2-4 hours there. We had a blast. They were so excited to see it in the dark all lit up. It was such a great night for it too! We bundled up, put Charlotte in the sling and off we went! It was so much fun, AND the girls got to talk to Santa!!

Charlotte just stared. She was trying to figure this guy out! Madalyn assured her he was a good guy to know since he brings "great presents!"

Amelia still wouldn't sit with Santa this year, but from Mrs. Clauses' lap she put in her request for Barnyard Uno. Madalyn asked for American Girl doll clothes, and Charlotte just stared.

Making a new friend

We MUST sit on the lion EVERY TIME we are at the zoo!

Rick thought putting Madalyn on the trunk was a great place for her while we loaded the other girls in. She thought it was a good idea to take a picture and throw some flair in while she was at it:)

We hope everyone has a great holiday! To those we won't be seeing, know that you are all in our prayers and we will be thinking of you on Christmas! To those family members and good friends who are celebrating this Christmas with their newest family members, we are so THRILLED for all of you! Enjoy it. It gets so much better as the years go on and the children "get" Christmas, but there is something so special about the first Christmas as a family! To those we will see, we can't wait! We start this weekend with celebrations and gifts, cookie exchanges and holiday concerts. And we are looking forward to all of it!

May you all have a blessed Christmas season with family and friends! We love you all! Merry Christmas! "See" you next year, or at least after Christmas!
