Party, Party, Party!!

Well, my Madalyn has had more than her fair share of attention this past week. Last Wednesday, she went to American Girl Place for lunch and to pick out her doll, Elizabeth. Friday, she had her first day of First grade and really liked it. Today was better, "because we ate lunch in the gym and had TWO recesses!"




Then on Saturday, she was VERY happy when Rick had flowers delivered to her!


Later that night we had all the girls over for a "sleepover" party. They came in their PJ's and armed with sleeping bags. We made crafts, played games, ate, opened presents and watched Enchanted. Rick even made popcorn on the stove!! Four hours of fun for the girls = much sleep for all of us that night!




The next morning my sister, and Madalyn's Godmother, came over to make the traditional birthday cake together for the family party. It turned out great, as always!!





And tomorrow will conclude the festivities. Madalyn's teacher invites the family to come to school and eat lunch with her and Madalyn in the classroom. So there you have it, one very long, fun-filled birthday week!!
